Dear friends,

Recently, I have been busy building a new portfolio site for my clients, and here it is, at lightsaucepictures. Periodically, I will return here to blog about more personal things and inspiration, while lightsaucepictures shall serve more as a platform to introduce my works to my new friends.

Great things have been happening, and I have been meeting and getting to know more interesting people. I just finished shooting a project with a new overseas friend, Ayden Férdeline, he writes some pretty quirky angles and it was an amazing experience working with him for his new project in Singapore. I hope to keep meeting great personalities like that, so here is to more.

Love,

Right after dinner, I dropped by the Workers’ Party rally held in my neighbourhood. Before the residents of Hougang go to the polls this Saturday, many Singaporeans came by for a last rally. The atmosphere was electric as the party leaders took their turn to address the crowds.

Just as it started to drizzle, I received an umbrella from a stranger who insisted that I take it.

Last Saturday evening was time well spent. Met up with Nic after a long while and we went trudging through the grass to a nice little spot near the beach. We had to endure some mosquito bites, but looking back now, I can say that it was all worth it.

The difference between an amateur and a master is consistency. That shall be my mantra for the days ahead.
